Poland: We traveled from Slovakia to Poland visiting Krakow and Warsaw. Krakow is famous for its splendor and history. The old town sits proud and stunning on the banks of the Vistula River and with a skyline predominated with Gothic cathedrals and churches it has to be one of the highlights of  Eastern Europe. Poland is a quickly developing country, but we hope change is not so rapid; as it is Poland's history and culture that leaves you lusting for more.

Slovakia: We spent three days hiking the middle and high Tatras and enjoyed some wonderful weather and incredible scenery. Camping and food was inexpensive and facilities a plenty. We enjoyed the company of a German Ladies Motorbike club who were touring Europe on a diverse assortment of motorbikes. After a few days exploring this rich and beautiful landscape we then rode north into Poland.

Telc Southern Czech

Czech Republic is not only rich in history but it also boasts some of the most beautiful scenery and towns in all of Europe. Prague like a peacock, displays some of the greatest architecture in the world. Czech cuisine is inexpensive, varied and exciting. The Czech Republic is a country that we have fallen in love with, and still one of the cheapest destinations in all of Europe. If it is winter sports or relaxing summer holidays then the Czech Republic should be one of your first tourist destinations. The Czech people are resilient, hospitable, full of character and extremely proud of their heritage - We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in this rich and cultural country.

Germany  Monika and I Visited BMW Munich and was presented with a lovely souvenir to commemorate our circumnavigation of the world and Guinness World Record. We then experienced some wonderful days riding along the banks of the Rhine, the mighty river that gives western Germany a touch of  class. You  can enjoy a majestic cruises along the river for one hour or a week, or simply marvel at  the baroque architecture, dine in incredible restaurants or riverside cafes or ride along the banks of the Rhine and enjoy some of the best scenery that Europe has to offer. Great cuisine, amazing hospitality, superb terrain, wonderful camping and all at a reasonable value. Don't ride through Germany - Stop and embrace it !
